Eastern Black Walnut

Eastern Black Walnut is one of the most premier woods that can be found in North America. With its dark coloring and tight-knit grain pattern, the wood from Black Walnut trees is sought after for almost every piece of furniture. Eastern Black Walnuts can be identified by their "tennis ball" looking walnuts that grow along the tree's long, narrow leaves. Under the shell of the walnut's green fruit is a brown nut that is known for being difficult to open.
